June 24, 2003

Brandon Bernstein young Australian Andrew Cowin have both announced that they will not return to NHRA Top Fuel competition until 2004 at the earliest. It is a shame for them as they will both missing out on valuable experience, but can anyone really beat Larry Dixon? I think not.

Mouth of the North defends himself

June 24, 2003

Paul Tracy, who mouthed off so much in this past weekends CART I thought he was doing a Muhammad Ali impression, has defended his actions as “just having fun.” Personally I love it. We need some more presonalites in CART. No one knows who all these rookies are, but Paul is a veteran using his status to create a buzz. Who cares which drivers feelings get hurt!

Davidson ditches

June 24, 2003

Prodrive Ferrari driver Anthony Davidson has decided not to drive the rest of the ALMS season due to his BAR testing commitments in Formula 1. This couldn’t have anything to do with his new team mate could it?

Gentlemen’s Agreement

June 24, 2003

It’s waffling like this that makes the Nascar brass look bad. On one hand they unequivically state there is no gentlemen’s agreement, all drivers are allowed to race back to the flag under caution. On the other hand, they expect drivers to deal with it amongst themselves. As a competitive individual, I would be racing with every legal advantage I could find, including racing back to the caution flag. Stop complaing Jeff, you are just demeaning yourself!

Michael & Jacque at Ferrari: NOT!!

June 24, 2003

Michael is developing the skills of a diplomat, a side benefit accquired as a five time world champion. I would love to be within earshot of the conversation where Jean Todt asks, “Hey Michael, how about Jacque as a team mate?” I would not hesitate to say it would be along the the lines of him or me, but never together.

F1press.net, Michael & Jacque team up?
