Schumacher Best Ever?

The BBC has a nice comparison of some of the greatest F1 drivers of all time. Now that Schumacher has beater Juan Manuel Fangio’s record of 5 career F1 championships, many would say he is the greatest driver every. Schumacher himself disagrees….but I don’t….judge for yourself and tell us what you think below in the comments area….

Racing One is reporting that Kenny Brack is still in serious but stable condition with devastating injuries to his lower extremities. He remains awake and alert (fortunately or unfortunately…depending on how you look at it) and has undergone surgery to his ankles and legs…

ENNIS, Texas - Larry Dixon and Greg Anderson clinched their respective NHRA series championships Sunday at the 18th annual O’Reilly Fall Nationals at the Texas Motorplex.
Kenny Bernstein, John Force and Anderson earned the wins in their respective categories at the $1.9 million race, the 20th of 23 events in the $50 million NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series.

Gil de Ferran ended his racing career in the same way he raced; fast, smart, winning, and gracious. As exciting as it will be to see Sam Hornish in a Penske at the Indy 500 next year, Gil will be missed. The race result was tarnished by the horrific crash between Tomas Scheckter and Kenny Brack. Scheckter walked away from the wreck, Brack is fortunate to be alive. The IRL has been flirting with this kind of disaster for the entire second half of the season. What they do about it remains to be seen.

Schumacher Wins Record World Title

Michael Schumacher is no longer the greatest driver in history only in the hearts and minds of his legions of fans…he is now officially the greatest in the recod books. Schumacher secured his record breaking sixth Formula 1 World Championship in what was, ironically, one of poorest races. Michael survived an early race tangle with Takuma Sato and a late battle with brother Ralf Schumacher to surpass Juan Manuel Fangio’s record five world titles, as Ferrari also claimed a fifth successive constructors’ championship.
Sole title rival Kimi Raikkonen came second, while Schumacher’s teammate Rubens Barrichello took the victory for Ferrari…

Travis Carter Unveils Brit Connection
Concord, NC - Oct. 11, 2003 - Travis Carter announced an alliance with UK-based racing organization Torquespeed. The juncture makes Torquespeed the first United Kingdom-based majority owners of a Winston Cup team. The new team will be called Torquespeed Carter, operating out of the current Travis Carter Enterprises shops at Statesville, NC.
