Tony Schumacher, Greg Anderson and Craig Treble also were the qualifying leaders in their respective pro categories at the $1.7 million race, the final of 23 events in the $50 million NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series.

Indianapolis, Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003 - IRL IndyCar® Series driver Kenny Brack is in good condition after undergoing successful surgcry on his back and right adds Nov. 4 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, said Dr. Henry Bock, director of medical services for the Indy Racing League. Brack had back surgery on Oct. 13, which involved a spinal fusion of the L2, L3 and L4 vertebrae.
