Laughing Stock Of The Paddock
May 31, 2004
Minardi? Usually, but both of the Wilux Minardi’s finished yesterday’s European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring. Granted, 3 laps down, but they at least demonstrated reliability. Jordan, Jaguar? Wrong again fans, both cars of each team again completed the race. It’s a sad day when a team with the heritage and winning tradition of McLaren is now considered the laughing stock of the sport. More importantly, who is to blame and is there a fix in sight?

Five For Nine

In baseball terms Ralf Schumacher would have a batting average of 555. And anything over 300 is considered excellent. But we are not talking baseball. We are refering to Ralf’s 5 “incidents” in nine races. Maybe at today’s turn one lap one Nuburgring accident he may have been blameless, but Team Williams have officially had enough.
