MORRISON, Colo. - Due to inclement weather NHRA was forced to cancel Friday’s professional qualifying sessions for the 25th annual Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals at Bandimere Speedway. Qualifying will continue with two sessions at 10:15 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. Final eliminations will start at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Two Tire Sets, One Engine 2005 F1 Rules Released

The FIA released the draft versions of the technical and sporting regulations for the 2005 Formula One season today. Changes to the diffuser will affect aerodynamics, tires will be limited to two sets for the weekend and fuelling can not be carried out at the same time as a damaged tire is replaced. There are several more interesting changes, including a requirement that engines last two weekends.

MORRISON, Colo. - When Gary Scelzi won the last NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series event at Gateway International Raceway he jumped from sixth to fourth in the Funny Car point standings and right into the middle of a four-car battle for the lead.
