Mark Taylor Replaces Greg Ray at Access Motorsports

Recently deposed Panther Racing driver Mark Taylor will be back behind the wheel of an IRL car this weekend in Nashville as Taylor takes Greg Ray’s seat at Access Motorsports. The team did not compete in the race at Kansas Speedway because of outstanding financial obligations. Its sponsorship partners include Renovac, Capgemini, University Loft and Panasonic Toughbook Computers.
Crew Chief Baldwin Fined $10,000

Tommy Baldwin, crew chief for the Evernham Racing No. 9 Dodge, was fined a total of $10,000 for the incident at Chicagoland Speedway last weekend. Here’s the full NASCAR press release, and the comments by team owner Ray Evernham.
In addition, four more crew chiefs were penalized for technical infractions discovered at Daytona the previous weekend.
