STEVE PARK (No. 62 Orleans Racing Dodge Ram) NOTE: Fresh off a season-best third-place finish on Saturday night in the Las Vegas 350 NASCAR Craftsman Series Truck race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Steve Park and the No. 62 Orleans Racing Team enter this weekend’s American Racing Wheels 200 at California Speedway ranked 10th in the Series Standings. With six races remaining in 2004, the race is also heating up for the manufacturers’ championship. Dodge continues to lead with a 119-117 advantage over Chevrolet.

Rocketman Newman Dominates Dover

Ryan Newman dominated the MBNA America 400 race Sunday at Dover, Delaware, leading 325 of the 400 laps. Nobody outside of NASCAR’s Chase for the Cup top ten led a lap all day and eight of the top ten finishers were among the elite ten. Matt Kenseth fell out of the top ten after a crash entering pit road and Elliott Sadler dropped back with an extra pit stop and a drive-through penalty for speeding on pit road.

Schumacher Wins - Anderson Locks Championship; Del & D.C. Score

POWERade points leader Tony Schumacher scored his eighth Top Fuel win of the season Sunday at the 19th annual O’Reilly NHRA Fall Nationals presented by Castrol Syntec in Dallas. The victory helped Schumacher pad his championship lead to 217 points with just four races left on the ‘04 schedule.
