With the help of Toyota and Schick, Toliver came back to the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series and won the season opening K&N Filters Winternationals. Since his win to begin the season, Toliver has had a lackluster performance. So what is wrong with Toliver? How can you go from opening the season with a win to failing to qualify five times this season and out of the top ten in points?

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. was penalized with a loss of 25 championship driver points and a $10,000 fine for an inappropriate post-race comment during the live national television broadcast of Sunday’s NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway, NASCAR officials announced today.

Doug Herbert (Top Fuel), Del Worsham (Funny Car) and Dave Connolly (Pro Stock) drove to upset victories in their respective categories at the $1.8 million NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series event.
