June 12, 2005
Carl Edwards had never seen Pocono Raceway before he showed up Friday for the two practice sessions before Saturday’s qualifying. The way he ran Sunday, winning the race and leading 46 laps, he looked more like a veteran of the triangular track.

Have you ever driven through Texas? The only thing more barren than 90% of the state of Texas was Tomas Scheckter’s win column since his last and only victory back in 2002. Fittingly that drought came to an end tonight on the high banks of Texas Motor Speedway as the South African rode from pole position to victory lane in, of all things, a Chevy!
And for those of you who care about only one thing…she finished 13th.

Jenson Button rewarded the tortured BAR team today with its first pole position of the 2005 season at the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit in Montreal. Red Bull Ferrari
