BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Wayne Taylor and Max Angelelli kicked off the second half of the 2005 Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series season the same way they opened the first half, as the No. 10 SunTrust Pontiac Riley co-drivers picked up their third victory of the season in the Porsche 250 presented by Bradley Arant at Barber Motorsports Park.

Portland - Trailing by 1.5 seconds with two laps left, Emanuele Pirro couldn’t believe it. He closed quickly on Dyson Racing’s No. 16 Lola, which lost fuel pressure while leading, to win the Portland Grand Prix on Saturday night in Round 6 of the American Le Mans Series.

Many NASCAR teams have implemented “Drive for Diversity” programs. Tommy Lane, Chris Bristol, Aric Almirola and even sprint car star Erin Crocker takes part in the “Drive for Diversity” program. Joe Gibbs Racing and Evernham Motorsports are probably the most popular programs out there. Richard Childress Racing was interested in one and Roush Racing has an “un-offical” one. “Drive for Diversity” programs are not bad. I just hate to see someone get beaten for a ride because the other driver is African American or a female.
