GTO Will Make Mopar Executives Sweat
July 13, 2005
When the NHRA rolls into Denver this weekend for the Mopar Mile-High Nationals, it will not be the scorching sun or high temperatures that will produce a few sweat rings. General Motors will debut a new Pro Stock Pontiac GTO for Greg Anderson and it is not just the potential performance advantage that is making Dodge boys nervous. GM should be commended two-fold. First, a tip of the cap to GM for upping the technology that drag racing has grown to thrive on. The second round of applause is for GM’s impeccable timing of rolling out the new Pontiac this weekend.
