Danica On Kentucky Pole After Qualifying Rain Out

Danica Patrick will start tomorrow’s AMBER Alert Portal Indy 300 at Kentucky Speedway from the pole position after today’s qualifying session was rained out and the field was set by the last practice session. Patrick topped that session with a speed of 217.516mph.

Stewart on Pole After Qualifying Rainout at The Glen

Tony Stewart is on the pole for tomorrow’s Sirius Satellite Radio at the Glen, however he took the pole based on driver points as qualifying was cut short due to rain. Stewart took the pole for the Busch race as well, but did so based on lap time. Road course ace Robby Gordon was knocked from second starting position to 39th when the session was cancelled. Scott Pruett did not qualify, but will displace Sterling Marlin in the No. 40 Coors Light Dodge.
