Probably not yet, but after meeting an extraordinary young lady he just might come out to the drag strip. As part of a Microsoft contest and promotion, a 15-year old girl from Washington State was one of the five finalists and is a member of the NHRA’s junior drag racing program. Her use of Microsoft products on her race car helped her win $5,000 worth of computers and software.
Audi to supply Red Bull?

Please God let this turn out to be true! There is talk in the German media of Red Bull racing hooking up with Audi in 2008 as an engine supplier, Gerhard Berger a friend of both the head of Red Bull & VW Audi is also believed to be involved.

Kyle Busch added to the headline-grabbing power of the family name by winning his second NASCAR NEXTEL Cup race Sunday at Phoenix International Raceway. Leading the last 28 laps ahead of Greg Biffle, he headed a total of 63 laps for three occassions.

Everyone wants this season to be over apparently. The driver notes and quotes were available in record time following Saturday’s qualifying. Denny Hamlin, in only his fourth attempt, scored a Bud Pole. Making the career first pole even sweeter, Hamlin’s birthday is this month. “I felt like that when I got in this car, I got in at the best time.”

Denny Hamlin, driving the No. 11 Chevrolet out of the Joe Gibbs Racing stable, surprised the field by winning his first career pole position. Hamlin’s lap of 26.831 sec/134.173 mph came in only his fourth qualifying attempt in a NASCAR NEXTEL Cup race.
