Doubt Remains Over A1GP Brazil Event

The rumors have flown over the last couple weeks that round 9 of the A1 Grand Prix of Nations scheduled to be held at the Curitiba circuit February 12 would be canceled. Autosport (Via SpeedTV) is reporting the rumors are fact and the announcement will come after the first of the year.
Cheever Goes For A Rolex

As in Grand American Rolex Sports Car racing series. His Cheever Racing will field a Lexus powered Crawford Daytona prototype car, and will be on the grid for the Rolex 24 hours in Daytona on January 26-29.
A1GP Team USA Plays Musical Driver’s Seats

A1 Team USA announced today that Phil Giebler will be the team driver for the A1 Grand Prix Race of Nations in Dubai. Giebler, 25, who has already been successful in open-wheel racing abroad, will get his first experience in the “We the People” car on December 11, 2005.
Katherine Legge to Test A1GP Entry

Katherine Legge followed up her successful rookie season in Toyota Atlantic with a recent test during Minardi’s F1 swan song at Autodromo Vallelunga, Italy. John Surtees has announced Legge will be granted an opportunity to test Team Great Britain’s entry in the A1 Grand Prix Series.
