He discussed racing, younger drivers, going fishing with Ryan Newman and his move back to the family home in Columbus, Indiana. Dreyer & Reinbold Racing announced Aug. 3 that IndyCar Series veteran Sarah Fisher will drive the No. 5 Honda-powered Dallara in the Meijer Indy 300 presented by Coca-Cola and Secret at Kentucky Speedway on Aug. 13.
Don’t Rush Ashley Force into a Funny Car Too Soon

In a recent news article appearing the in the Orange County (Calif.) Register, the possibilities of when Ashley Force will make the leap from a Top Alcohol Dragster to a full blown Nitro breathing Funny Car was discussed. The idea of Ashley running part-time in the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series in 2007 could become a reality but could jeopardize her rookie status.
Kubica Subs for Villeneuve at Hungarian GP

The BMW Sauber F1 Team will take their place on the grid for the Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest this coming weekend with a different driver line-up. After his accident at the German Grand Prix last weekend Canadian driver Jacques Villeneuve will not be racing. Test and reserve driver Robert Kubica will take his place. He will be the first Pole ever to contest a Formula One grand prix.
Time to Cut Bait on Carlson

With over half of the season in the books and things not looking too bright, I think it is time for Don Schumacher to make a change and let Pro Stock rookie driver Shaun Carlson out of his contract.
