Monday, September 24, 2007- With two rounds remaining on the 2007 Champ Car World Series schedule, a majority of the teams headed down to Sebring International Raceway in Florida for a last chance at testing. Rain showers interrupted the day in the early afternoon, but when the track dried and the cars returned, the times began to fall.

Andrew Ranger was destined to be the next Canadian superstar in the Champ Car World Series. He was young, fast, and marketable. However, he constantly struggled to find sponsorship for his Champ Car effort, and bolted for the NASCAR Canadian Tire series. People told him it was a big mistake, but Ranger has now come out in the press saying that it was ‘the best mistake he ever made’.

Doctors were able to set his broken left ankle, and they found that his wrist is not broken, but is severely dislocated.
