SURFERS PARADISE, AUSTRALIA (October 20, 2007) - Team Australia’s Will Power (#5 Aussie Vineyards Cosworth/DP01/Bridgestone) lived up to his name once again on Saturday during the final round of qualifying for the Lexmark Indy 300. The Toowoomba-native not only grabbed his fourth pole position of the season, and second in a row in Australia, he also set a track record with a ‘powerful’ lap of 1 minute and 30.054 seconds (111.733 mph) sending the green and gold clad Australian fans into a frenzy.

CONCORD, N.C. - We’re lucky enough to be at Lowe’s Motor Speedway for the weekend, so we thought you’d like some reports. Ryan Newman (once again) is on the pole at Charlotte. He beat out Jimmie Johnson by .061 second and Bobby Labonte, driving for the resurgent Petty Enterprises, by a further .156 second. This is Newman’s fifth pole of the 2007 season.
