A1GP Drops Asian Round 3 of 2007/08 Schedule

Lack of Suitable Site for Race Eliminates November Date

A1GP announced on Friday (October 5th) the cancellation of its planned “Asian” round of racing.

The loss of the date (originally scheduled for November 4th) creates a yawning month and-a-half gap between Round 2 in Brno, Czechoslovakia next weekend (October 14th) and November 25th’s meet in Sepang.

Despite the cancellation, A1GP still has multiple dates in the Far East including two races in China and the race in Malaysia.
