Floridian Trots the Globe, Aims for Podium in New Zealand

A1 Team USA’s Jonathan Summerton resumes the chase for The World Cup of Motorsport this weekend (January 18th-20th) when A1GP Taupo, New Zealand commences on Friday with opening rookie and regular-driver practices.

The fifth round of racing offers the American team an opportunity for redemption after a disappointing set of results in the four previous outings, where they’ve finished no better than tenth this year.

Camarillo’s Charlie Kimball backs up Summerton as the designated “rookie” driver in Taupo.

The races, both Sprint and Feature, will be video-streamed live on A1GP.com.
