What's this site all about?

In surfing the web for racing news, we grew tired of having to visit many different sites to get all the racing news of the day. The point of this site is to aggregate news and information (as well as some occasional witty racing banter) on our favorite racing series from a vast array of sources online.

Who's behind FastMachines.com?

FastMachines.com is a completely private, totally unfunded web site started by a father and son team of auto racing fanatics...

How do I use this site?

Most of the pages on FastMachines.com are divided into three columns with our blog postings in the middle, related links on the right, and series schedule information on the left. The vision for the homepage of FastMachines is to be a place where racing fans can quickly stop in and get the latest news for each series covered (currently we cover NASCAR, F1, IRL, CART, and the NHRA), as well as quickly reference the time, date and TV broadcast info of the next racing event in each series. You can also get the results of the last series event, and links to the current series championship point standings.
Many people only like one racing series and are fanatical about it. Not us. If it is loud, goes fast and can potentially harm you, we love it! However, for those of you who like only one particular series, feel free to bookmark our individual series archive pages:

Unlike most major media sports web sites, this place encourages participation. At the bottom of each posting/article, you'll find a place where you can sound off on the topic in whatever way you want. If you disagree with what the person has to say, let them know. If you agree...do the same! Got a better article from another source? Post it in the comments!
