Douglas Brown

Born and raised in Indianapolis, Douglas has been an open-wheel racing fan as long has he can remember. He has attended, witnessed, watched and covered the Indy 500 from about every conceivable perspective including the infield, Stand A, Stand B, the Northwest Vista, the Southwest Vista, the Paddock Penthouse, the Pagoda, the TV truck and atop a fire engine on Pit Road. He was at the Speedway for many historical Indy 500 moments including Tom Sneva's first 200+ run, Gordon Johncock's sprint to the finish, Jacques Villenuve's extra lap victory and provided exclusive at-the-track coverage of the 1997 race for ABC Sports on AOL.

Now a resident of New York City, Douglas has to explain racing to anyone who dares ask. As a personal rule, Douglas attends at least one open-wheel event each season and believes that real race cars do not have fenders. Equally as passionate about motorcycles, Douglas rides his Ducati Monster whenever and wherever possible.
