Scott Keller

Scott grew up in the heart of open-wheel racing country - Indiana - and became an IndyCar fan on Memorial Day of 1982 at the age of eight. Scott's father grew up in Hastings, MI, also the home of Gordon Johncock (in fact Gordy's sister and Scott's grandma are old friends). The family all sat around the radio listening to Gordy's win that year, and Scott's been hooked ever since.

Being purely a fan, and not an insider, Scott brings a raw fan's view to Fastmachines.com. He isn't afraid to share his opinion, especially about the demise of the Indianapolis 500 in the last decade (don't get him started).

Scott also enjoys local short-track racing, like 410 winged sprinters on dirt at Skagit Speedway north of Seattle, late models at Berlin in southwest Michigan, or Silver Crown cars at Indianapolis Raceway Park. Scott has moved around a lot in the last decade, and seen a lot of different kinds of racing. He now lives in the Los Angeles area and hopes to take in some races at the new Irwindale Speedway, and also provides coverage for Fastmachines.com at the historic Grand Prix of Long Beach.
