Yes, Sebastian Bourdais is having himself a racing career year, regardless of the series or the competition. The dominance and consistency he is showing hasn’t been seen in Champ Cars in quite a few years. Is this symptomatic of a great talent in a field of good drivers? Or a good team and good driver laying waste to a mediocre field?
I would have to go with the great talent theory in combination with a great team. Newman Haas has been in the game a long time and know how to extrract the best from the package. Combine that with an agressively quick pilot and you have a winning combination.
As long as you can keep the car on the track, right A.J.?
