Tony Pedregon Appears on Today Show and CNN
Written by David Lamm · February 12, 2008
How does the old saying in racing go? “If you can’t win, be spectacular.” Defending NHRA POWERade Series Funny Car champion Tony Pedregon did just that this weekend. Pedregon was a guest on The Today Show and CNN’s American Morning earlier today to discuss the spectacular explosion and fireball that engulfed his Q Horsepower Chevy Impala at Sunday’s season-opening CARQUEST Auto Parts NHRA Winternationals. You can view the video of the Today Show appearance here.

Thank GOD Tony is alright!! And I pray that anyone else that goes through that type of explosion can make it through it like Tony did. And get well soon Tony!!!
it shows how well built these cars are today, happy tony is going to be ok
Well said Dave, I was also glad to see J.Force back in a funny car too. He proved that even though a gets designed safer that it is still fast, way to go Robert and the Force team!!
yes thank God that Tony is ok after that fireball and crash last sunday. watched on espn2 and it looked not too nice. i was also worried that happening on John’s first race might of shook him up alittle. didnt look too good for John Force having another car have troubles and almost cause another crash like when berstien and john tangled up last year
