Fernando the sleeper

June 28, 2003

Keep your eye on Fernando tomorrow folks, he always races better than he qualifies, and unless reliability or another drivers mistake takes him out, I am looking for big things from him on race day.

Eddie & Ralf

June 28, 2003

Yet another driver (thank godness no longer active) with loads of personality and marginal talent. Eddie Irvine takes on Ralf. Unfortunately in this case he is on the mark!

Raikkonen takes first career pole

June 28, 2003

Kimi Raikkonen took the first pole position of his career in qualifying for the European Grand Prix today. His first pole will beautifully match the pole that is up Kimi’s ass during press conferences. Does this kid ever smile? Kimi, you just won your first pole, how about a fist pump or some sort of happy emotion!?

The brothers Schumacher, Michael and Ralf, were second and third respectively. Full field below…

Villeneuve in denial

June 27, 2003

What a jerk! It’s never about his lousy attitude, senseless mind games with his co-drivers, or constant whining about his cars lack of performance or reliability.

If he doesn’t get a ride next year it’s because he doesn’t have good results to show. Riiight! Then how does a guy driving a toal piece of crap catch a ride with Jaguar? (Webber) Or Alonso get a ride with Renault? It’s all about talent AND attitude, shit head!! Your talent has diminished and your attitude speaks for itself.

Barichello to Sauber?

June 27, 2003

Here’s a rumor that won’t survive the weekend. Rubens Barichello to go to Sauber in order to allow Felipe Massa to have a full time Ferrari ride next year?

I wouldn’t let Massa drive my lawn tractor around the block, and I don’t think Ferrari would let him drive their F1 ride. Too many quality drivers available to settle for Massa.

Frank Williams, Genius!!

June 27, 2003

That should be Franks official job description, “Genius”. He has nailed down his engine supply with BMW thru 2009, and did not have to sell out any part of his team to do so, ala Mclaren and Mercedes (At least not publicly acknowledged as yet).

His torso may be wheel chair bound, but that mans intellect is totally focused on making his team better and winning. You can also bet your ass BMW will NOT be selling engines to any other team as part of this deal. Way to go, Frank!!!!

McLaren ‘fess up to test failure

June 26, 2003

Mclaren admitted that the new car failed the FIA mandated side impact crash test and the car may not be ready until Italian GP in September. Sorry, Kimi, so much for additional victories this year. And it would help not starting each race from pit lane!

Positive Jenson

June 26, 2003

The crew at BAR must be stunned to have a driver who actually has positive things to say about the team….
