Adam Saal Jumps Off CART
Written by John Davison · October 16, 2003
Indianapolis, IN - October 16 - Adam Saal has resigned his post as CART’s vice president of communications, effective today.
In a report posted on motorsportsforum.com, Saal reported that he will take some time off and then join his wife in Atomic Communications, a company she has been operating for two years.
Saal’s career in motorsports PR and communications dates to the Barber-Saab Pro Series, where he first caught the eye of Chris Pook who brought Saal to handle the Long Beach Grand Prix for four years.
Saal later moved to CART for the first of his two stints as communications vice president.
After an interval when he ran his own communications and PR firm, he was brought back to CART in 2002 when Pook was brought in to try and restore the organization to profitability.
Saal reports that he will move to Cocoa Beach, FL from CART headquarters in Indianapolis.
