Edmonton Provisional Pole: RuSPORT Racing’s A.J Allmendinger
Written by George Katinger · July 16, 2005
This is how you know a team shares set-up information and track data. Right behind A.J. is teammate and Toronto winner Justin Wilson.

This also is where the obligatory mention of team momentum would be introduced. But at a new circuit where no one has run before the only momentum they can claim is attitude. Wilson was 3 tenths behind A.J and Tracy nearly 8 tenths off the pole pace. SeaBass unfortunately broke his car coming to grips with the new track.
I’m sure the top teams will make the adjustments needed to compete, if there is no rain. All in all I’m looking forward to see if the race will be as competitive as Toronto. Tune in and give them a chance.
