Ford re-ups with CCWS, PKV and Newman Haas sign new sponsors

The relationship between Champ Car and Ford remains solid, and two new sponsors are added to the roster as teams put the finishing touches on their packages for 2005.
Ford Announces new multi-year deal with CCWS
I’ve never really been much of a “Ford” guy, but I should become one to show my appreciation for what they have done to keep Champ Car alive. Ford showed a continued committment to CCWS today by announcing a new multi-year agreement as the “presenting sponsor” of the series.
As part of the deal, Ford will continue to provide courtesy vehicles for Champ Car’s Fast Lap program. I’ll be sure to see some of them this weekend in Long Beach.
PKV & Newman/Haas Get New Sponsors
Cristiano daMatta’s will have some new graphics to put on his Lola before practice starts on Friday at Long Beach. Bell Micro signed on to sponsor Cristiano for all of 2005. Meanwhile, Newman/Haas added Centrix Financial as a new associate sponsor for both of their cars in 2005.
