Our Boy D.J. Samson

Written by George Katinger · March 14, 2006

Some may think using the term “boy” may be condescending or derogatory, but in D.J.’s case it is very appropriate. You see D.J. is a 14 year old lad attempting to make his way into a racing career!

Some of you may recognize his moniker as offering an occasional post, post comment, or forum opinion. And I am proud to say at such a tender age his insights are wiser than most, your current scribe included.

His current writing efforts are on another site and anyone out there capable of helping our “man” D.J. in achieving the shot he undoubtedly deserves, please reach out with whatever help and support you may be able to offer.

Thank you for the kind words George. Although the hunt for sponsorship has been a long one, I think I’m finally making some ground.

Times are difficult but I don’t let them get me down. I do understand that European racing is ‘for the rich.’ But there’s a first for everything.

I’ll keep you guys updated. Thanks!

Best of luck, DJ! It must be incredibly difficult to secure the sponsorship required to even ’show your stuff’, so to speak. Perhaps YOU are your best marketing management option? Your story caught my eye, so you are doing somethings right! Never quit your dreams!
