Ron “Foot In Mouth” Dennis

Written by George Katinger · April 16, 2004

I guess when your team has a whopping 4 constructors points (3 more than Sauber and Minardi) a person will say almost anything to deflect attention away from himself and else where. Why would Dennis invoke the great Ayrton Senna’s name in heaping further abuse on Michael Schumacher? Other than being more than willing to take a cheap shot, and the simple fact someone asked. Why not “I can’t really say”, Ron? Spend more time on your team’s miserable performance this year and leave the soon to be seven time world champ alone!

Unless I read a direct quote from a reliable source, I wouldn’t believe any criticism of Schumacher by Senna. After all, when it came to competition, Ayrton wasn’t exactly a choir boy either. Ask Eddie Irvine
