Trulli Takes Indy Provisional

Title contenders Michael Schumacher, Juan Montoya, and Kimi Raikkonen all had fairly dissapointing first days at Indy. This left the door open for some drivers and team less used to the limelight to offer a good showing. Jarno Trulli took the provisional pole with a 1:09.566 lap, followed by Rubens Barrichello. Another opportunity to shine was seized by Jaguar driver Mark Webber who took the spot and will go out for final qualifying third from last tomorrow…
