Jonathan Summerton Capitalizes on Teamwork for Sprint Race Grid Gain
A1 Team USA’s Jonathan Summerton sped through qualifying at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez to put America’s Lola/Zytec entry in third place on the Sunday (March 16th) Sprint Race grid, and seventh on the start for the Feature Race in Mexico City.
The Kissimmee, Florida native’s speedy navigation of the modified 2.5 mile circuit was only one tenth of a second off the pace-setting time of Sprint Race pole-sitter Adrian Zaugg.
