The win was Battistini’s second of the year. He won the Firestone Indy Lights series season-opener at Miami Homestead Speedway in March. The victory also lifted him into second place in the championship standings, behind Antinucci, as the battle for the Firestone Firehawk Cup enters round six of sixteen next weekend in Milwaukee at the famous Mile of the Wisconsin Fairgrounds.
