Why won’t these 2 open wheel driver not win. It’s called being outnumbered. Why is Hornish getting ready to run in Cup. Money and prestige. Sam’s got championships and an INDY 500 yet he’s one of America’s best kept secrets.
Thank you for those erudite comments Darryl…or Dare-isle…or whatever.
What should we expect with a name like Darryl…
You can go back to lubing your Shevvy now.
The fact that names like Lewis Hamilton (two time rookie winner who has not finnished below third this year)or even Emanuele Pirro (5 time le mans winner) shows that ESPN does not care about racing at all. No offense but you could leave every name from the IRL and CART off the list. They all want an F1 ride but none of them are good enough. It is second tier racing and they don’t deserve and ESPY for it. It would be like giving it to one of the guys in Truck series instead of a Nextel driver. But seriously, how many times do you have to win le man before any american cares???? It is the worlds greatest race and it is largely ignored by anyone but speedvision.
