First Robin sighting? - No, nothing but rats with feathers (sparrows) around these parts.
Checking account ballooned with a tax refund deposit? - Yea right, when pigs fly in formation with rats with feathers!
No my wake-up call noting the month of May came in the form of Spring’s first Danica sighting. Danica-mania was in full swing Tuesday morning on Fox and Friends.
Complete with a remote control car race that Danica won versus one of the shows bobbleheads. Must admit the bunch of roses given to her were a nice touch, but…
Drinking from the bottle of milk offered to her may have jinxed any aspirations she may have winning the Indy 500 later this month.
But I’m funny that way. Black cats, ladders and green race cars are all taboo around my place.
And BTW, the “starter” for the RC car race? None other than former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, “pimping her ride” so to speak, she has a new book out.
UPDATE: If only to prove I’m behind the times I missed the fact Patrick was included in People Magazine’s “World’s Most Beautiful People” list. (no sour grapes here, but she did replace me from the list!)
But… remember “It’s Dan, not Danica.” But you knew that didn’t you?

Oh god…I had to stop watching the video clip when they trotted poor old Madeline Albright out…good lord it sure is May.
