Level Cross, NC - Jeff Green will return to the controls of the No. 43 Cheerios/Betty Crocker Dodge out of the Petty Enterprises shops. Kyle Petty made the announcement Tuesday.
Green debuted in the Petty Dodge at Dover and earned a 16th-place finish, quickly gaining a strong rapport with the “Helping Hands” crew and impressing the entire Winston Cup garage.
“We just kind of clicked,” explained Green.
Green’s career includes the pole position for the 2003 Daytona 500, four top-five finishes and ten top-tens in his two full seasons of Winston Cup competition. His career winnings top $5.2 million. Green’s first race of the 2004 season will be the Bud Shootout at Daytona in February.
