Last week, representatives of the three manufacturers involved in NASCAR NEXTEL Cup racing met to discuss the state of the art in the series. Here’s an almost complete transcript of the panel’s comments. We’ve tried to fill in gaps from memory as best we could, but there some gaps still remain.
MANUFACTURERS PANEL
MODERATOR: This is our opportunity to do something with NEXTEL that we have been actually thrilled that we had a chance to start at Talladega. We’re going to do it here again in Charlotte. We’re going to do it again in Sonoma. We call it the Manufacturers Panel.
