Newman makes it 6 at Richmond

Ryan Newman won his 6th race of the season tonight at Richmond. The smooth consistent run was typical of what Newman does when he can stay out of trouble. There was plenty of trouble on the track and off as Kevin Harvick had a post race scuffle with Ricky Rudd, and Robby Gordon had choice words for Jeff Burton who spun him. Burton was apologetic, taking responsibility for the spin. Notable was Jeremy Mayfield’s second place finish, by far his best of the season…
