This Kyle Busch Stuff Is Getting Out Of Hand

197 out of 200 laps.
You read that right. Kyle Busch led the Kroger 200 for 197 out of its 200 laps. If he were a baseball player someone would have hit him with a pitch by now. Right in the melon. That was his sixth Nationwide victory and Toyota’s 15th in 22 Nationwide races.
Guess impounding the Toyotas at Chicagoland and changing the rules in mid-stream isn’t showing results yet, huh?
Busch racing in the Nationwide Series is almost to the point to where it makes the races dull. It’s like watching a high school defensive end trying to run down Vince Young, or a little leaguer trying to hit off of Mariano Rivera. I don’t mean that to sound like an insult to the drivers who are only running the Nationwide Series; instead, I mean it to be a testament to just how hot Kyle is right now. Busch is the most dominant racer in the Sprint series, so isn’t his ripping off wins in the Nationwide Series a bit of overkill?
Other notes from the race:
Carl Edwards also put in a great performance, coming from four laps down to finish in 11th spot, and pole-sitter Colin Braun put in a great second-only-to-Kyle performance.
These days, that’s almost the same as a win.

Kyle Busch without a doubt is hot and it probably would not have made a difference but why was he allowed to jump the pole sitter at last nights race and take the lead before the start line? Even the announcer defined the rule.
I wondered the same thing. I kept expecting something to happen but it never did. I don’t believe they ever replayed it either did they?
