Chat Live with Andrew Hines & GT Tonglet Thursday
Written by David Lamm · December 14, 2005
Ever wonder what it’s like to blast down a quarter-mile drag race track in seven seconds reaching speeds over 180 mph? Tomorrow, two of the world’s fastest Harley-Davidson drag racers, Andrew Hines and GT Tonglet of the Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines Drag Race Team, will answer questions about life in the NHRA fast lane as they chat live with race fans on Dec. 15, from noon to 1 p.m. CST.
Hines, who successfully defended the NHRA POWERade Pro Stock Motorcycle championship by clinching his second consecutive title in 2005, and teammate GT Tonglet, who finished second in points this season, are excited to participate in the live event.
“It’s always fun to interact with Harley fans and this gives us a great opportunity to reach people beyond the race track,” said Hines. “We love talking about the Screamin’ Eagle V-Rod race bikes we ride and the fun we have during the races. We’re also excited about next year, and we’re always testing and tuning the bikes to improve our performance.”
Users must register at Harley-Davidson’s website in order to submit questions, which may be submitted starting at 11:30 a.m. CST.
