Minor rule change in Pro Stock
Written by Josh Katinger · June 19, 2003
A minor rule change was made to the NHRA 2003 rule book. The spill plate (the side plates of the rear wing that keep air from “spilling” off of the spoiler and create more downforece) have been extended slightly to increase down track stability.
Additionally, the NHRA is now making sure drivers at all levels and classes stay strapped into their cars until they leave the racing surface.
