Snake Racing Won’t Expand In 04

Most people were expecting a different announcement from Don Prudhomme’s Snake Racing. It was no secret that the team had been working with Melanie Troxel to secure primary sponsorship for a second top fuel team to run with the Snake’s 2002-03 top fuel champion dragster piloted by Larry Dixon. Apparently plans have fallen through. Don takes a political stance saying that it wasn’t in his teams best interests to start a 4th team, but I would guess that the sponsorship just didn’t come together…
