Red Line Oil Sponsors Pole Day at Infineon ALMS

Infineon Raceway and Red Line Synthetic Oil Corporation have a reached a multi-year strategic partnership that will make the Northern California-based company title sponsor of pole qualifying activities at the Infineon Grand Prix of Sonoma American Le Mans Series weekend, July 16-18. The weekend is presented by Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa.


Red Line Oil Pole Day will encompass all qualifying activities over the race weekend at Infineon Raceway, including the premier event, the Infineon Grand Prix of Sonoma. The partnership will extend through the 2005 ALMS weekend, as well.

“We are very honored to work with the great staff at Infineon Raceway and be a part of this event,” said Tim Kerrigan, Red Line president and local resident of Sonoma, Calif. “Red Line Oil got its start 25 years ago at this track, so it carries on a great tradition and relationship for our company to sponsor the qualifying events this weekend. We have helped the careers of many of these sports car racers over the years, which makes it that much more special.”

Pole activities at the Infineon Grand Prix of Sonoma will include categories for all classes in the American Le Mans Series, SPEED World Challenge Series, Star Mazda, and F2000 categories.

Red Line Oil sponsors many teams in the SPEED World Challenge, including Touring Car series points leaders Turner Motorsports, the Acura effort of Realtime Racing, the Nissan entry of Team RTR, and 3R Racing entries in the GT division.

Red Line Oil will also be primary sponsor of the Kalitta Motorsports Top Fuel dragster entry for David Grubnic at the FRAM Autolite Nationals, presented by Supercuts, at Infineon Raceway, July 30-Aug. 1.
