SCCA Spec Miata Challenge to Support ALMS at Lime Rock

The New England Region of the Sportscar Club of America and Toyo Tires have announced a Pro Spec Miata race during Lime Rock Park’s American LeMans Series New England Grand Prix on July 5, 2004. A full field of 40+ cars is expected for the race on the 1.5 mile road course. The race will take place at 12:30pm on Monday, July 5, 2004.
Spec Miata is racing class for 1990 to 1997 Mazda Miatas that are lightly modified with a specified suspension, intake, exhaust, and Toyo Proxes RA-1 tires, as well as safety systems necessary for racing. The specified rules packages for the cars are designed to equalize performance and provide close, economical racing.
